Nothin' Personal 'bout it. Jus' Business.
The Privatus Syndicate is a criminal organization that deals with spice smuggling, extortion, weapon trafficking, underworld political affairs, pod racing, gambling and other illicit dealings. A large unit within the Fleet, it remains completely neutral to the Galactic Civil War, preferring to commit to role-playing mercenary and criminal roles.
The Syndicate does not hold rules or a standard organizational structure, but in actuality money and influence are how members gain power within the organization. Crime Lords located in various guilds form the coalition of criminals and events determine the status of these guilds in the underworld.
Organizational Structure
The Syndicate maintains organized cells and cartels on various servers of interest with each of those units led by an Underbosses. The bosses reported to Chiefs, who have no cells of their own and operated under secret identities, leading normal lives within the Fleet. Chiefs do not know the identity of each other and report only to the head of the Syndicate, the Don.
Cell
The smallest unit of the Syndicate, a cell can be a small group of people or a guild in its own right. Cells perform various operations, sometimes openly for the Syndicate, others as secret units within the Fleet or even other Imperial organizations or within the Rebellion without their knowledge.
Cartel
Cells are collected together under a Certel and led by an Underboss. The Underboss sits on the Circle of Lords with the Overlord, who is an Underboss themselves. Cartels fight for power by gaining influence and wealth, as well as the elimination of their competition by various means.
The Exchange
Merchant aspects of the Syndicate are held under the Exchange, also known as the Black Market. These may include rare items sold at various prices to items that traditionally aren't sold to players. The Exchange is known as the Black Market in a joint effort with the Merchant Conglomerate organization.
Circle of Lords
The heads or Underbosses of the Syndicate Cartels sit on the Circle of Lords. This committee is overseen by the Overlord, and detemines pricing and other internal matters for the Syndicate. The Circle of Lords also has public events and other activities for Syndicate members.
