A Galactical Political Approach
The Politik Korps is a group of Imperial Advisors and Galactic Mayors who constituted a powerful collective civilian leadership body within the Black Sword Fleet. The mayors, or governors, of each city belong to legislative group entitled the Imperial Senate. These members debate policy for the civilian authority oversector and city policies across the Fleet. Members of the Politik Korps are generally addressed as "Governor". Mayors of military cities gain the title of "Moff".
Roles of the Politik
The Politik Korps has several important roles it plays within the Fleet.
City Management
Everything from permits for housing to maintenance and militia management, the Politik Korps must keep up to date with the latest happenings of their cities.
Citizen Happiness
Keeping their citizens happy is an important part of a politican's role in the Fleet. Events and city beautification help in this regard.
Independant Voice
The senate is entirely democratic and elections are held every three months. You can encourage your local candidate and plan his ouster with your own application for office. All citizens may take part.
A Diplomatic Hand
The Politik Korps act as ambassadors and advisors to various officers and guilds, even outside guilds from the Fleet. Diplomacy is key to trade agreements and galactic civil war alliances.
