A Defined Imperial Purpose
The Central Committee, abbreviated by many as the Command Staff, is the central policy-making and governing body of the Black Sword Fleet. The Committee is responsible to, and its membership is subject to, the approval and direction of Grand Admiral himself.
According to Fleet guidelines, the Central Committee directs all Fleet activities between each subgroup and oversector. With the exception of the Grand Admiral, members of the committee are appointed by the Grand Admiral every year, or in his absence the Viceroy of the Force Elite Soldiers, and are selected from the leaders of each Oversector's subgroups.

Admiralty Guard
The Admiralty Guard are elite combat players who have sworn to protect the Grand Admiral. These highly skilled members of the Stormtrooper Corps, Starfleet and Fighter Corps conduct role-playing guard duties during events for the Central Committee.
Members of the Committee
There are six members of the Committee; one leader from each of the three Oversectors, one operations officer, one financial officer, and the Grand Admiral of the Fleet. The Grand Admiral acts as the ultimate authority and may overrule the other five members at any time.
Grand Admiral Topheth
Committee Chairman / Black Sword Fleet Commander
Grand Admiral Topheth is the founding member of the Black Sword Fleet. His policy decisions and structural planning created the Fleet we see today. Topheth is a leading member of the Force Elite Soldiers' Moff Council.
Fleet Admiral Reaper
Director of Imperial Integration & Operations
Fleet Admiral Reaper is an original member of the Black Sword Fleet, recruited by Topheth himself. His role is to maintain Fleet operations, oversee roster updates and makes sure all subgroups are functioning at their peak at all times. Dedicated and loyal to Grand Admiral, Reaper was one of the first Command Staff officers handpicked by Topheth himself during the navy's first restructuring campaign.
High Admiral Arias
Director of the Military Establishment
Arias joined the Black Sword Fleet in May 2003 as an active beta tester. She won the top medal in the Corps for her personal commitment to the Fleet, aiding when others wouldn't in leading a near impossible defense of Delta Detachment's bases that led to victory for the Empire. As Director of the Joint Military Establishment, she is responsible for all space and ground forces of the Black Sword Fleet. This includes the Stormtrooper Corps, the Fighter Corps, and any military-associated combat groups within the Fleet.
Director Cerchia
Director of Imperial Unification
Cerchia has a powerful reputation within the Fleet as a peacemaker and dedicated organizer. She has an ear and an eye for talent, creating dozens of in-game bands with members who are dedicated and creative in their presentations. As Director of the Imperial Unification Commission, she focuses on the greater good of the Fleet by providing events and training and the management of our internal political atmosphere. The central job of the Commission is to improve member happiness and keep the commonality content.
Director Kilpulyr
Director of Imperial Prosperity
One of the richest players in Star Wars Galaxies and a dedicated small business owner in his out-of-game employment, Director Kilpulyr is a highly experienced merchant both in and out of game. He is also responsible for the Commerce Guild, the banking clan of our Empire. As Director of the Imperial Prosperity Authority, he is responsible for all Fleet-wide Commerce and Economy factors including but not limited to manufacturing, tax collection and the handling of Fleet funds.
Admiral Varslaw
Director of Enforcement & Implementation
Known as a cruel and imposing figure to friends and enemies alike, Varslaw plays his part with the skill of a weathered political strategist. His determination has proved an asset not only on the Committee, but in various councils and oversight organizations spread around the Fleet over the years. Varslaw acts as the head justice officer in the Fleet, responsible for enforcement of Fleet policy and interacting with Fleet intelligence and its security establishments.
