The Imperial Academy is a highly structured top-academia learning complex for the Black Sword Fleet. The military model of the Academy reinforces the importance or organization, teamwork, discipline and personal responsibility. The positive attitude of Academy staff, combined with concentrated academic remediation, tutorials, and mandatory, supervised combat exercises, invariably results in a superior opportunity for success.

Offering over 400 unique courses ranging from leadership training to in-game skills, the Academy has everything you can possibly imagine to improve and enhance your membership experience in the Fleet.

Responsibility To Lead

Every member is asked to complete at least one course within their first year. Those who graduate from the Imperial Academy are considered for leadership positions within the Fleet. Top academic graduates are the top of their field, filled with knowledge, leadership motivation and skills. Whether a member has been in the Fleet for years or slaughtered hundreds of thousands of our enemy in battle, no one can gain an officer rank within the Fleet without Academy approval and certification.

It is common for players to believe they do not need the services of such Academies but the fact remains that the majority of those who enter the Academy are functioning well below their ability. All members can benefit from years of experience from the Academy's volunteer professors. Each professor is a top gun in their field of expertise, and volunteers their time and energy every week to help members become better at their chosen path and gain skills needed to dominate the game. Outside of the curriculum of game-based skills, the Academy offers insight on Black Sword Fleet policy as well as leadership training and unique skills needed to become a top Imperial Officer. We are constantly expanding the areas the Academy touches on as we create the leaders of tomorrow.

Institution Departments

Academics

The Academics department teaches basic skills in learning. Courses comprise of behavioral understanding, planning skills and history of the Fleet, the Force Elite Soldiers, and specific Star Wars Galaxy servers. Most courses are available as a group or 1-on-1 basis with your professor. Some courses involve a website-based instruction.

Military Instruction

Military Instructions department comprises of the basics of the military branches, basic tactics and engagement planning, risk assessment, advanced battlefield knowledge, understanding profession skills, advanced tactics and planning, team make up, and advanced battlefield leadership.

Civilian Instruction

Civilian Instruction involves leadership training, profession specific knowledge, subgroup specific instructions and advanced negotiating and sales techniques. Most courses do not involve combat.

Underground Instruction

Officer Instruction

With strict entrance requirements, the Officers department teaches manpower analysis, Fleet tools and software, advanced risk assessment, advanced leadership skills, research abilities and teaching others. Many course are 1-on-1 with a professor for enhanced learning.
